Nevada side, Lake Tahoe
Lakeridge
A hillside neighborhood on Highway 50, just north of Skyland, with its own improvement district.
About Lakeridge
Where it is
Lakeridge borders Skyland to the north, on the slope where the Carson Range meets the lake. The land falls west toward the water through Jeffrey pine, and lakefront parcels end in a steep bank at the shoreline.
Services
The Lakeridge General Improvement District is its own taxing district within Douglas County. Sewer service is the Tahoe Douglas district.

Douglas County caps the number of vacation-rental permits in the Tahoe Township, limits their share of each neighborhood, and treats a permit as discretionary rather than a right. Association rules can add their own limits.
